«Combating human trafficking is a cause that is very close to my heart. I began my career in law enforcement in 2003 and, over a period of 19 years, worked with the Obwalden Cantonal Police, the Valais Cantonal Police, and the Swiss Federal Criminal Police (fedpol) in the Human Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling Unit. During this time, I conducted interviews with children and victims and coordinated national and international cases and operations. In Switzerland as a destination country, as well as in countries of origin such as Romania and Bulgaria, I worked closely with police forces and NGOs and represented Switzerland in various expert groups. I am delighted to continue the fight against human trafficking and migrant smuggling with ACT212.»

«Human trafficking, as a form of modern slavery, is one of the most abhorrent crimes of our time. My experience in law enforcement has shown me that combating this crime requires a holistic approach and a deep understanding of those affected. With my expertise in investigations, police analysis, and international coordination, I aim to make a meaningful contribution to protecting victims and bringing about tangible change. This is precisely why I see my work at ACT212 as so valuable and why I am committed to contributing to its mission.»
Awareness Raising and Prevention

«As a criminologist, I have been analysing issues related to crime and human rights for more than 20 years. When my professional focus shifted to combating human trafficking in 2019 as part of my role as a financial analyst at fedpol, I realised how obscure and imperceptible human trafficking and exploitation is. Many people are unaware that human trafficking also occurs in Switzerland. This reinforces my commitment to contributing my expertise to ACT212, supporting its efforts to raise awareness of this important issue and to strengthen the identification, protection, and support of victims.»
