The national actionplan against human trafficking
The federal Swiss justice and police department published the new National Actionplan against human trafficking in October 2016, which will be effective until 2020. You can find the Nactional Actionplan here: NAP_2017 (in German)
During the UN human rights convention on the 11 October 2017 the Swiss task group presented their recommendations regarding the necessary steps for an effective suppression of human trafficking in Switzerland.
Official Numbers / Statistics
The Federal Statistical Office provides annual figures on the recorded offences and convictions in the field of human trafficking as well as on the counselling provided by official victim support centres. It is assumed that the number of unreported cases is significantly higher.

STATISTICS OF THE PLATEFORME TRAITE
The Plateforme Traite is an initiative of four NGOs that provide direct assistance and support to victims of human trafficking (FIZ, CSP Genève, MayDay Ticino and Astrée). They also collect yearly figures on the trafficked persons they identify.
