A man from a European country contacts the National Hotline by email on his own behalf.
He reports having worked in Switzerland over several months without receiving any salary. During this period, he claims living with compatriots, only paying a small rent for his room. Since he does not receive any salary he cannot make a living anymore and has to return to his country of origin. Only after a more than one year, he takes the courage to get in touch with the National Hotline from abroad.
He is put in contact with a counselling center in the concerned canton.
